Dreaming of Orlando again!

Our recent trip to Florida was lots of fun. Emmy loved the pool...in the top left picture it was the first time she was in it. It was only 55-60 degrees the first two days we were there, that is why she still has her onesie on. Anyways, she so excited to splash around in the water that she was just laughing/cackling for about 10 minutes straight. The kiddie pool was only 1 foot deep max. The water was up to her thighs and she just trudged around and helped herself to anyone and everyones pool toys. One time she even took a water bucket right out of a lady's hand...good thing people were carefree and understanding, because Em thought she owned the place :) The weather reached up into the high 80's the rest of the week, so it was wonderful feel that hot sun. We spent quite a bit of the time relaxing by the pool. However, we shopped, went to a Detroit Tigers game, and the Tampa Bay Lighting vs. South Carolina Hurricane's game. We watched Phil's cousin Dwight play for the Hurricane's...he played a lot. It was my first time going to a professional hockey game. Dwight got us tickets so we got to sit near the ice, and then after the game we went down by the locker room to talk to him. We got to see some of the other pro players up close. We had such of a fun v-k!

We're back!

I finally got a chance to take the Christmas background and music off, and now I can actually add a new post.  You might ask, "where were you?"  For some reason the holidays and working 12 hour nights have made me neglect this blog, and realize that it is now mid-end of January and I still have a family picture from Thxgiving and Christmas music on my blog.  Also, Emmy has taken over hours of computer time by always wanting to watch, "Elno."  These are a couple pics JoLynn took for my potential Christmas cards this year.  Em loves doing her cheesy smile, as you can see.
